Outback Rail Adventure

Project overview

The package will start as a day trip between Longreach and Ilfracombe and become a multi-day experience once established. The three-day, two-night trip will be similar to the Savannahlander and the Gulflander in Tropical North Queensland.

Significant drought periods have created a need to diversify the regional economy, and with our support, the Outback Rail Adventure will open up new opportunities. The expanded rail infrastructure has increased access to Outback Queensland and create new opportunities for towns that traditionally have limited access to visitors.
