Birdsville Court House Hologram

Project overview

With our support, Diamantina Shire Council have installed hologram technology at Birdsville Courthouse as the final stage of the Courthouse refurbishment. Visitors can soak up stories of the Outback and the pioneering forefathers from the Heritage listed building.

This innovative approach to storytelling will attract visitors to Outback Queensland and bring long term economic outcomes to Birdsville.

The stories will be about:

• Birdsville's judicial history to the end of World War II
• the history of policing
• the opening up of Birdsville tourism after World War II.
